If you are considering facial laser resurfacing, a personal
consultation is the first step towards determining whether you are a
good candidate for the procedure and determining what your
specific cosmetic goals are.  During your consultation, you should
be prepared to provide information about previous surgical
procedures, including cosmetic facial peels or dermabrasions, any
abnormal skin conditions that have been diagnosed or treated,
medications you are taking or have taken previously, including
nutritional supplements and herbal remedies, and skin allergies,
acne, or facial injuries you have sustained.

During your examination, Dr. Behmand will evaluate the quality,
thickness, and color of your skin.  Often, people who undergo laser
resurfacing choose to have other facial rejuvenation procedures at
the same time, such as a facelift, browlift, or eyelid surgery.  If you
know you will have additional cosmetic procedures in the future, be
sure to discuss this during your consultation.
